I don't know how to eat that starchy lump! I guess it is like mashed potatoes to you!

Irene, I felt the same when I had to eat it! It tastes and feels nothing like Potaoto in the mouth. In fact, it tastes just as you describe; a starchy lump. I think it was made using maize corn and a bit like polenta (Italy) and they call it Banku. Lesson over.
