Ghana - 2002
Bruce and I visited Accra, Ghana in January 2002 to visit friends of our family. We were made most welcome and enjoyed the food and different culture. These are just a few pictures we took there.

I don't know how to eat that starchy lump! I guess it is like mashed potatoes to you!
Irene, I felt the same when I had to eat it! It tastes and feels nothing like Potaoto in the mouth. In fact, it tastes just as you describe; a starchy lump. I think it was made using maize corn and a bit like polenta (Italy) and they call it Banku. Lesson over.
